Over 10 Micronesians Adorn Chaminade Black and Gold

Chaminade University, a college accredited university in Honolulu Oahu graduates over ten Micronesians on May 9, 2011. A volume once incomprehensible to our islands may soon be an annual feat with the large population of Micronesians currently attending the university. Of noted interest, most of the graduates are from Micronesian high schools. Is this an indication of our high schools’ ability to graduate college ready students? One thing is for sure, this is a sign that a four year college degree is well within reach for young Micronesians.
