PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The Pacific Islands Women in Leadership program (WIL) is designed to create a vibrant network of women leaders across the Pacific region who will learn from each other and provide mutual support as they seek to bring about positive changes in their island societies.

The WIL has two main outcomes:

  • The development of a network of women leaders working on Pacific women's empowerment issues and connected to supportive institutions; and
  • The development of applied leadership projects designed within and for specific communities.

Please visit the East West Center website for more details and to apply. Applications must be completed by July 8, 2013.
